Timothy Dietz, began his passion for magic at the young age of 12. Over the last 32 years, Timothy has performed in Greece, Las Vegas, and now is the most sought-after magician in the Austin area. About Tim Dietz the Magician

The magic of Thimeos began 32 years ago while living in Austin, Texas. Tim Dietz, at the age of 12, received his first magic kit from his father, who had found a small magic shop just down the street. Tim’s first magic lesson was given to him by one of Austin’s iconic magicians, The Great Scott.

Tim started performing for friends and classmates at his school, and would tell neighbors he was practicing to be a magician and performed free magic shows for them. Tim now performs for venues and private parties in Austin and throughout Texas as “The Magic of Thimeos”.

While living in Greece with his family, Tim performed at various venues in Rhodes and has also performed in Las Vegas. Tim’s performances include both close-up and stage magic. His stage show ranges from dove illusions to fire magic.

Tim enjoys performing in a wide range of venues and to all audiences. Tim’s magic can be seen at corporate events, non-profits fundraisers, private children and family parties, clubs, and restaurants.

FAMILY EVENTS MAGIC

Kid’s shows will include a 45 minute up close show then a 15-minute teaching session where kids will learn a variety of simple and basic tricks they can perform on their own.

FAQ’s About Magic

How close to my event should I book a show?

You can book a show as soon as you decide on the date and time of your event. Dates fill quickly, so the sooner you book, the better your chances of getting the date and time you want. A minimum of one week’s notice is required.

What are your rates?

Shows start at $200, price depends on the type of event and audience. I perform at birthdays, kids parties, restaurants, clubs, & small office parties.

Each show can be customized to fit your particular event. Depending on your budget, we can put together a show that will work best for the budget you have set for your event. Larger stage and corporate events are priced based on scale, scope and time. Give us a call today and we can give you a quote right away.

Which show would be best for my party or event?

That depends entirely upon what type of event and the location of your event. They can range from a seated audience with a performance area to an informal event with strolling magic. If you are having a banquet or dinner, we can do both! Some strolling magic before dinner, then the stage show immediately after dinner. Contact today and we can help you decide on the show that best suits your particular party or event.

How much space is needed for your show?

For the stage show, it can be performed in an 8’ x 8’ area. The strolling magic has no space requirements.

Do you perform outdoors?

Shows can be performed outdoors, however, it is recommended that all shows be performed indoors if possible. If you are having an outdoor event some factors will not allow for the performance of my stage show, such as wind, extreme heat, cold or rain. Strolling magic can be performed outdoors weather permitting. If you have an outdoor event we suggest a weather contingency plan in the event of extreme weather. Contact us if you have any questions about your event.

Are your shows appropriate for all ages?

Yes! All of the material in the show is family friendly. There is nothing inappropriate and is great for ages 1 to 100.

Do you work with live animals?

Yes. The stage show and some of the strolling magic involve small animals that are also family friendly.

Can you travel to my event?

Yes. The show does not include travel expenses for events outside of the Austin area. If your event is in the surrounding area such as Round Rock, Georgetown, San Marcos, Buda, Kyle, Bastrop, Smithville, Lago Vista, Cedar Park, Leander areas travel is included in the show price. Travel within the state of Texas will be added to the cost of the show. Arrangements can be made for further travel.
